My Secret Ambition

I'mma let you in on a secret of mine. But shhhhh don't say a word to anyone! I want to write a book. Not a little teenage novella, but a real book. I've written several short stories and tons of poems, but I want to write a real book this time. I know it's going to take time. And I guess that's what's holding me back. I'm afraid this is goingto be just another one of those projects where I'll start, but somehow end up not finishing and losing faith in myself. Another thing I'll fail at in my life. I guess i can't ever get over that fear. I have tons of things to write about, but every time I start I don't seem to get anywhere. I have one story that's pretty long now, but I started it at least 2 years ago, possibly even longer, and I would have to go through and correct my English a lot before even thinking about continuing, not that I know if it would be worth it, because I don't think anyone other than me would have an interest in reading that story. I don't want to be another one-hit-wonder, if even that much. I want to write a real book that people will want to read! I don't expect to becomethe new J.K. Rowling or Stephenie Meyer, but I want to write something that real people would want to pick up from a shelf in a bookstore, read the back of, and actually want to buy! I know that this will take a lot of work, and I don't know where to start. Dear God in Heaven if you exist, give me strength, wisdom and courage to get somewhere with this little project of mine!

And this song is BEAuitful, I just had to let you hear it!!
