To Write Love On Her Arms

"To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery." ~ From their Facebook event page

Furthermore, it says, "To Write Love On Her Arms Day is a day where anyone can write the words love on their arms, to support those who are fighting against depression and those who are trying to recovering. On this day, just write love on your arms, and show it off, other people will ask why you have love written on your arms, and you tell them you are supporting to write love on her arms day, and how its benefiting a non profit organization helping stop depression, and make love the movement on November 12-13th write love on yours arms, and upload pictures here to show your support"

I participated in this event, and I actually still have LOVE on my arm in sharpie (: I wanted to show you the result of it:

here's the picture in what I call shallow effect, the next one is what I call total

On the event page on Facebook, where we uploaded the pictuers, I actually saw people that had uploaded pages of their arms with LOVE tattooed on! That is love, right there!

I would also like to share what I posted on their wall, a few days ago:

"Because everybody deserves to be loved. Because everybody deserves help. Because everybody deserves to be reminded that there is hope. Because everybody is somebody to somebody else. Because the world is the way it is. Because LOVE is a beautiful word. Because we all are who we are. Because we're all human beings. Because I know someone in all of the categories mentioned above. Because I love, I believe in love, I believe others need to be reminded of love. Because I'm here for whoever needs me. That's why I will write LOVE on my arms ♥"
