Just Me and My Cup of Coffee!

Let's talk about yesterday!

I overslept. On the day where I have one of the most important tests of my life, i overslept! Woke up when my mom walked into my room, discovering that I was still asleep, telling me my friend was here to pick me up. PANIC ATTACK! Luckily, it was only ten past seven or so, and we'd agreed on leaving forty past - we left ten to eight though. Still had good time, were at school before eight thirty.

The test, I think went OK. I feel like it did. But time will show.

Then I went to work, from 3pm until 11.20pm. I was exhausted when I got back home, but hopefully the money's worth it.

Today, then!

I'm sitting by the kitchen table, drinking my first cup of coffee for today. It's 9.30am, and I'm not quite awake yet. Luckily, school doesn't start for another two hours, so I have plenty of time to drink coffee before that! I should also get some food... And watch Criminal Minds from yesterday night!

Caffeine is a drug that stimulates the central nervous system. Caffeine makes people more alert, less drowsy, and improves coordination. Combined with certain pain relievers or medicines for treating migraine headache, caffeine makes those drugs work more quickly and effectively. Caffeine alone can also help relieve headaches. Antihistamines are sometimes combined with caffeine to counteract the drowsiness that those drugs cause. Caffeine is also sometimes used to treat other conditions, including breathing problems in newborns and in young babies after surgery.
