Welcome Back, Summer, Once Again...

As I am writing this, we're closing up on half an hour into the first month of summer 2011. The fact is evident many other places as well.

First of all, as Boyfriend and I were out walking, he said, "Today is the first day where it really smells like summer outside." And I agree, it was something very summer-y about... Well, everything, really. The grass was so green because of the rain we've had lately that hasn't evaporated yet. The sky was blue, the clouds white, and I even saw a teeny tiny rainbow at some point.

Second, I believe we need less sleep in the summer. At least, I believe I do. This morning found myself I waking up entirely by myself at 6.02am, wondering why the heck I was awake - my alarm was set to 6.30. But I closed my eyes until it went off - and had no problems getting up, for the first time in God knows who long. Could also be nerves previous to my final exam though, which I  believe went sort of well. We'll have to wait and see.

Furthermore, I can't fall asleep now. My summer insomnia has returned, which I talked about in July last year sometime shortly after I created this blog. I'm there again now, I've reached full circle, so to say. There's only one way to end this in-the-middle-of-the-night entry:

Welcome back, summer, once again!

(Pictures I took today will be posted tomorrow, as they are currently in my cell phone and I don't have the cable anywhere near me and I'm too lazy to get up and look for it, and I'm planning on photographing some more tomorrow if the weather agrees to it.)
