A Quote and One More to Make Up For the Lost Ones

Once upon a time, I used to send out quotes via text message to all of my friends every morning, wishing them a good day with a made up word beginning with the letter of the day of the week it was. I know that it was highly appreciated for many of them, and it helped me get to know particularly one person better than I ever thought I would. Today, he is one of my best friends. I was for instance one of the first people he told when he decided to come out of the closet a little over a year ago. We went to the Lady Gaga concert in Oslo together in October of last year - exactly one year ago this evening, to be exact. Which again means it's one year since I last saw this special friend of mine.

He makes me feel like I am a good person. He makes me feel good about myself.  He makes me want to be a better person. He makes me believe in all of the beautiful things in this world, and that I can actually make a change. He makes me happy. And all of this because I had some crazy idea that I could make people happier by waking them up at 6am PST with a quote, and he actually replied to every single one of them, starting a day of constant texting every single day. So in honour of my gay best friend, I want to share some photo quotes. Just to make up for some of the ones I haven't been able to text him for the past 16 months.
