Chills run down my spine...

This song is so beautiful! While obviously making me think of Twilight due to the parts from Breaking Dawn that appears in the movie, it also makes me think of this book I read last summer called My Name is Memory - a really beautiful story that you just have to read if you haven't already! Summary comes below...

My Name is Memory - SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!

This book is written by Ann Brashares, and is quite an extrordinary story. I read the book in three days, because I was absolutely unable to put it down! And those were days where I was doing a lot of things, also! It's a love story unlike any other, in my opinion. It's so beautiful, and just thinking about it gives me goose bumps all over my body!

My Name Is Memory, the first of a three-book series written by Ann Brashares which follows the meeting of a college couple who come to the realization that their souls have been reincarnated over hundreds of years, but that these soulmates keep losing each other. But wait, it's even more complicated than that. Read on!

While the guy [Daniel] remembers the details of their previous lives, and his often exasperating attempts to connect with her romantically, the lady [Lucy] cannot recall the events of those past lives. The book is said to have elements of Twilight as well as The Time Traveler's Wife.

To become a movie in 2012 - I can't wait!

Some of very many amazing quotes from this book goes like this:

"Love who you love while you have them. That's all you can do. Let them go when you must. If you know how to love, you'll never run out."

"How many times could you give up on someone you loved?"

"Please believe him. Keep your heart open to him. He can make you happy. He has always loved you, and you once loved him with all your heart."

"I did the searching and remembering, she did the disappearing and the forgetting."

"You forget your victories, but you remember the losses."

"If you didn't have a choice, you had to make a choice. If you didn't have options, you made some. You couldn't just let this world happen to you... he didn't see eternity. He saw this girl and this moment and this one slim chance."

"She had never had a boy talk to her like that. There was no cover of bullshit, no flirtation, no added charm, but his look was searing. He was different from anyone she had known."

"I love her. I need her. I gave away everything I had for her. I just wanted her to know me."

"He had to fight. That's all he had. Not memories, not experiences, not skills. He had a will. And his will was to fight until he couldn't fight anymore."
